The Arabian Centre, the new leisure, retail and entertainment complex in Dubai, has announced that it has seen a marked increase in footfall since the start of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2009.
In a statement today (July 7th), the centre's chief operating officer Tim Evans said that he hopes the robust visitor numbers continue over the coming months as the mall enjoys its first year in operation.
"Dubai's summer extravaganza has provided the right impetus in increasing the footfall and sales for us," Mr Evans commented, adding that there had been a particularly strong growth in the number of families visiting the mall.
The facilities may be of particular interest to those who have recently bought property in Dubai and are looking to furnish their new home.
Furthermore, he added that the increased footfall has converted to strong sales growth for most tenants at the centre.
In May, the Arabian Centre was given the seal of approval from His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, prime minister and vice-president of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who toured the facilities and took a keen interest in its striking architecture.
