Angola travel reps touch down in Dubai

High-level representatives from Angola's travel industry are being treated to a guided tour of Dubai ahead of the launch of the inaugural Emirates Airline service to Luanda on October 25th.

More than 20 representatives have touched down in the emirate, ready for a four-day guided tour of some of the world's most prestigious and admired tourism destinations, including the Palm Jumeirah and the Burj Dubai, which at 816 metres is the world's tallest building.

Representatives will also get a glimpse of the Dubai Metro, which is due to launch in September and will mark another world first for the emirate as the largest fully automated metro system on earth.

"Emirates is very pleased to be supporting such an important trip, which we believe is one of the largest travel industry groups from Angola to visit Dubai," said Nigel Page, Emirates' senior vice-president of commercial operations for the Americas and Africa.ADNFCR-2019-ID-19275149-ADNFCR
