The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation has entered into a new agreement with the US-based Charles Edison Fund in a move to support international scientific and medical research and historic conservation projects.
Finalised during a tour of the US led by the foundation's vice-chairman and managing director Adel Al Shared, the deal will aim to promote scientific, medical and historical interests throughout the Arab world by providing philanthropic support to organisations working in these fields.
The new agreement will also mandate the provision of professional training services to support young entrepreneurs in the emirates and throughout the Middle East.
"In collaboration with Edison, the foundation will develop leaders who will have an impact in job creation in Arab countries," commented Mr Al Shared.
The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation has also recently signed a memorandum of understanding with Lebanon's FFA Private Bank in order to support young entrepreneurs in the country.
