Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice-president and prime minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, has outlined his vision for a pilot scheme to upgrade government services.
The first public body to implement the new system of development will be the Sheikh Housing Programme in Dubai. As part of the trial, the institution will open new branches and a dedicated call centre to support nationals in finding property in Dubai.
Emirates Business reports that the leader has urged other government departments to implement the strategic upgrades and develop new services that will increase satisfaction with public institutions.
Touring the headquarters of the Sheikh Housing Programme, the ruler witnessed development plans that will help to provide 40,000 new residential properties in Dubai for UAE nationals.
A similar project is currently being implemented in Abu Dhabi to assist UAE nationals in the capital in finding appropriate and affordable property for sale.
