One of the most esteemed and respected names in motorsport is making preparations to bring its fleet of elite supercars to the Middle East.
McLaren Automotive is currently seeking dealership partners in the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia ahead of a regional launch in 2011.
The company is also currently investigating the viability of establishing a service centre in Lebanon to provide assistance for owners shipping their vehicles to the region for the summer months.
Ian Gorsuch, McLaren Automotive's regional director for the Middle East and Africa, said the company recognises that dealer service has been lacking in the region.
"We want to offer every one of our customers the level of service that matches the performance of our cars. McLaren Automotive plan to stand out from its competitors in all aspects of its business," he pledged.
McLaren Automotive was established earlier this year to chase the kind of success enjoyed by the motorsport team with the development of the McLaren F1 and Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren with a new generation of road cars.
