Flydubai has continued with its impressive expansion drive with the announcement of a new daily service to Aleppo, Syria's second largest city.
Just nine days after it began its inaugural flights to Beirut, Amman, Damascus and Alexandria, the Dubai-based group has confirmed that flights to Aleppo will begin on July 18th to accommodate the expected increase in travel to and from the emirate during the summer season.
Ghaith Al Ghaith, chief executive officer of Flydubai, said that with the addition of Aleppo, the airliner will offer flights to the four largest cities in the Levant region.
"The advent of Flydubai flights will ensure the extensive Syrian population in Dubai and the four million plus people living in Aleppo will be able to enjoy our fair fares," he said.
Flydubai is advertised as the emirate's first low-cost airline and it promises to offer simple and efficient travel options to its customers.
The carrier may be a popular choice for those visiting the emirate to look at property for sale in Dubai.
