DED teams up with DTMFZA to issue new licences

The Department of Economic Development (DED) has announced that it will open a new office in conjunction with the Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone Authority (DTMFZA) to issue licences for companies looking to operate in emirate.

As part of the new agreement, the DED will begin issuing licences, offering business registration services and registering trade names within the free zone.

The partnership is intended to promote business diversification and communication between companies working in the emirate, news that may be of interest to those searching for commercial property in Dubai.

Sami Al Qamz, director general of the DED, commented: "The agreement with DTMFZA comes in line with DED's objective to enhance the performance of Dubai's business sector."

The DED moved into new commercial property in Dubai in 2006 when it established a presence on the first floor of the Dubai Municipality transactions centre in the Al Twar Centre.ADNFCR-2019-ID-19196708-ADNFCR
