British hotel chain Premier Inn has continued its regional expansion plans by buying in Dubai.
The company has opened its second hotel in the emirate at Dubai Silicon Oasis and is planning to open another at Dubai International Airport later this year.
The first hotel to open at Dubai Silicon Oasis, the Premier Inn has 230 rooms with ensuites which are capable of accommodating a family of four.
A rooftop swimming pool and whirlpool bath are also on offer, along with a contemporary restaurant, a bar and Costa Coffee shop.
Darroch Crawford, managing director of Premier Inn in the Middle East, said: "Our customer base is usually evenly spread between the business and leisure traveller, so an integrated community such as Silicon Oasis is the perfect location for Premier Inn."
Premier Inn has a hotel at Dubai Investments Park and aside from the airport development, is planning more in Dubai and Abu Dhabi by 2010.
