The scintillating inaugural match at the Dubai Cricket Stadium between Pakistan and Australia was just a taster of the kind of epic sporting clashes that will be played out in the emirate in the years to come, the chief executive of Dubai Sports City (DSC) has claimed.
Commenting on Wednesday (May 20th), Mr U Balasubramaniam, told Seven Days that the cricket stadium will soon be complemented by a world-class multipurpose, 60,000-seater stadium that will provide a stage for the world's best rugby and football players to show off their skills.
The Dubai Sports City complex also offers an array of Dubai property for sale, with distinct developments designed to meet the needs of families, couples and bachelors alike.
Commenting on the recent match between Australia and Pakistan, the chief executive averred: "The Australians thought the facilities were first-class and rated it one of the best stadiums in the world. For two of the days we had almost full-houses and that speaks volumes."
