A new luxury chain of hotels is set to arrive in Dubai by the second half of 2010, it has emerged.
The Middle East's first Pullman hotels, catering to the top end of the boutique travel market, will come to Dubai after an agreement was signed formally between partners Accor and Majid Al Futtaim Group this morning (April 29th).
Set to be built adjoining the Mall of the Emirates, the new 481-room hotel will boast 94 suites and will be specifically designed to meet the exacting requirements of upscale business travellers and conference attendees.
"Upscale hotels adjacent to the retail, leisure and entertainment offerings of a Mall have proved highly successful and complementary," said Dr Najeeb Al Khaja, senior vice-president for Hospitality at Majid Al Futtaim.
The new hotels may also be an ideal place to stay for those who are looking for property for sale in Dubai.
Majid Al Futtaim has also this month announced plans for the Sohar City Centre project in Oman.
