Crown Dilmun has announced plans to build a new $500 million (AED1.836 billion) hotel and mall in Ras Al Khaimah.
The development, which will also boast property for sale in Ras Al Khaimah, will include a hotel with 185 suites and a mini mall.
Its first development in the northern emirate, the project will also include five residential buildings, the company's chairman told Gulf News, speaking on the sidelines of the Cityscape Abu Dhabi 2009 conference last week.
Completion of the project is expected to be achieved within three years of the construction start date, with the hotel complex due to be spread out over seven floors.
The hotel suites have been designed to include spectacular views of the Arabian Gulf, framed by floor-to-ceiling windows.
Earlier this month, Rakeen announced that reclamation work on the Al Marjan Island property development in Ras Al Khaimah has been completed.
The project is expected to cost in the region of $1 billion to complete.
