People looking for property in the UAE but who are concerned about the environment may be interested in a new exhibition being held in Abu Dhabi which highlights an appreciation of the environment.
The Abu Dhabi Environment Agency has organised the event, which will run from April 30th to May 4th 2009. It is designed to highlight how making positive changes to lifestyle can help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Gulf News highlights some of the habits that consumers should develop in order to help reduce carbon dioxide emissions. Changes around the home which people buying property in the UAE can make include switching off all lights when not in use and turning off electrical appliances when they are not being used.
Other changes could include switching to energy-efficient lighting around the home.
Last month, Emirates Business 24/7 noted that people in Dubai should consider sustainability when they furnish their homes.
