Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) has been lauded with the prestigious Dubai Quality Award 2009 at the Department of Economic Development's annual award ceremony.
At the thirteenth annual awards, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice-president and prime minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, celebrated the progress made by the healthcare facility.
Sheikh Mohammed handed the award to Tatweer's executive chairman Saeed Al Muntafiq and Dr Ayesha Abdullah, senior vice-president of DHCC, at a ceremony attended by more than 1,000 top government and private sector representatives.
"This award belongs to all the amazing people at DHCC who have worked so hard towards making the DHCC vision for healthcare excellence a reality," said Mr Al Mutafiq.
On April 7th, DHCC celebrated World Health Day with the opening of its first kindergarten.
The opening of the new Hummingbird Early Learning Centre may be of particular interest to families who are considering buying property for sale in Dubai.
