College of Dental Sciences opens in RAK

The new Ras Al Khaimah College of Dental Sciences (RAK CDS) has been opened by His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, crown prince of Ras Al Khaimah.

At a ceremony held earlier this month, the prince said that the new facilities would help to cement the northern emirate's fast-growing reputation as a regional centre of excellence in higher education.

He added: "A high quality of education is highly critical to the future of both our country and the emirate. We need to focus on bringing in the latest programmes and courses for our children."

Meanwhile, Hassan Khan, chief executive of the new college, said that the campus will provide the very latest in educational support for students of dentistry, with experts in the field being recruited from around the world.

Sheikh Saud has also this month opened the new Obaidallah Geriatric Hospital in the emirate, news which may be of interest to those who are looking at investing in property in Ras Al Khaimah.ADNFCR-2019-ID-19112537-ADNFCR
