Russia looks to enhance UAE ties

Russia is looking to the future as it forges stronger ties with the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Gulfnews reports the admiration and mutual respect shared by the UAE and Russia in light of the two regions' similarities.

Russian charge d'affaires Pavel Merkulov says: "Positions of our countries are identical or very close on all aspects of international agenda.

"Russia and UAE keep constant bilateral political dialogue."

Through the strengthened links between the two countries, more Russian citizens could be encouraged to look into buying in Dubai.

A diverse range of people may also be interested in buying in Dubai, as Mr Merkulov notes the respect afforded to different groups within the UAE.

Mr Merkulov also tells Gulfnews of his anticipation of the visit from Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice-president and prime minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, to Russia which is taking place this week as part of the moves to enhance bilateral relations.ADNFCR-2019-ID-19098701-ADNFCR
