The total value of Dubai property sales completed last week hit AED1.9 billion, helping to take total transactions to AED3.09 billion.
Meanwhile, mortgages agreed on Dubai property for sale hit AED1.19 billion, the Land Department has announced.
Over the course of the week, a total of 50 sales were completed, with the largest of these being a plot in the Trade Centre Second, which sold for AED600 million.
Taking second place was a Dubai property for sale in Al Garhoud, which was bought for AED59.568 million, beating a AED48.1344-million transaction for a plot at Dubai International into third place.
"The Palm Jumeirah area was the most active in terms of the week's sales, with some eight transactions. Al Ruwayyah followed it with five sales," the Land Department confirmed.
On Wednesday February 25th, land transactions in Dubai peaked at AED860.51 million, of which sales contributed AED806.65 million.
The total value of mortgages stood at AED53.85 million.
