Watani plans family heritage camp
Watani, the organisation promoting Dubai's cultural heritage, is organising a traditional family camp in the desert to coincide with the Dubai Shopping Festival.

In news that may be of interest to those who have family property in Dubai, the camp will run for nine weeks and is a continuation of Watani's popular children's camps, which have been run for the last two years.

"The camp is faithful to the centuries old UAE tradition of travelling to the desert in winter and spring to get in touch with nature and enjoy the beauty of the desert," said Ahmed Al Mansoori, director general of Watani.

He added that the camp will provide Emiratis with the chance to develop their understanding of the traditions and lifestyle of their forebears.

Other family events which may be of interest to those who own property in Dubai could include the Chinese State Circus, which will be performing at Dubai Festival City over the course of the month.ADNFCR-2019-ID-18978009-ADNFCR
