RTA meets with Dubai property players
The Marine Agency at Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has met with key industry figures in the Dubai property market to discuss ways to provide the best mass marine transit services in the emirate.

As part of its ongoing commitment to this aim, the organisation recently liased with developers to establish a cooperative framework in order to make sure that the traditional heritage and design of abras and marine mass transit modes were upheld during the development of the Dubai Creek cultural project.

"We will also be working on minimising the negative impact on the environment through adopting green alternatives such as solar energy and natural gas," said RTA chief executive officer Khalid al Zahid.

Such developments may be of interest to those looking for Dubai property for sale.

The organisation also expressed its commitment to improving the safety, comfort and accessibility of maritime transport in the emirate.

Among the operations being undertaken by the RTA is the Ferry Dubai project, which is due to be completed in June 2010.ADNFCR-2019-ID-18963747-ADNFCR
