Those with a property in Dubai may be aware of a recent visit by Medcare to children at the Rashid Pediatric Therapy Centre (RPTC).

Such an occasion was organised in recognition of Children's Day, which was held last month.

Dr Ayman, consultant Neonatologist at the Medcare Hospital, commented on the importance of the visit.

He said: "It is necessary to bring in awareness regarding the Centre to practicing Doctors and mainly other Neonatologists in UAE regarding the activities undertaken by centres like RPTC."

Dr Ayman added that such visits can provide help for the parents of newborns who have special needs, for those who may require speech therapy or need other medical assistance.

While at the facility the Medcare team were given a tour and spent around ten to 15 minutes of classroom time with children in order to get involved with some of the regular programmes.

Medcare hospitals claims to "strive to deliver the highest quality comprehensive health care of international standard" to its patients, using state-of-the-art technology combined with having qualified medical professionals.
