For anyone who has a property in the UAE, FIFA-related activity by the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) may be on their radar.

The authority is launching a multi-faceted visitor enhancement programme as part of its sponsorship of the FIFA games.

ADTA has signed a two-year deal as FIFA's National Supporter and will be responsible for the promotion of the traditional and cultural at the location to the eagerly anticipated football fans.

Ahmed Hussein, deputy director general at the ADTA, said: "The FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2009 is yet another world-class major sporting coup for Abu Dhabi and will demonstrate the destination's ability to deliver premier events."

He added that the ADTA is looking forward to creating a visitor experience which is "holistic" and one that creates on-pitch excitement, so they go away with a well-rounded view of the emirate.

The organisation will also conduct increased complementary guided tours of the emirate's Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, which opened its doors in 2007.
