Visitors have headed to Dubai Festival City in droves since the start of the year, figures show.
Indeed, the site's general manager for retail Tom Miles has claimed that the Festival Centre has seen a 30 per cent increase in footfall compared to visitor numbers from 2007.
Meanwhile, sales volumes also rose an impressive 40 per cent as visitors took advantage of unlimited discounts and special offers as part of the Dubai Shopping Festival.
"As the country continues to catch the attention of the world's retail markets with its ambitious developments, we at Dubai Festival City aim to create distinct points of difference to ensure popularity and consequently success," Mr Miles insisted.
The Festival Centre offers world-class shopping and dining facilities, in addition to grand events and ceremonies such as the world famous Chinese State Circus and Ice Under the Stars, which offers the chance to cool off on a custom built rink.
