Emirates announces Durban flights
Emirates Airline will begin a daily service to Durban from October 1st 2009, the company has announced.

Speaking to Emirates Business, Mike Simon, divisional senior vice-president for corporate communications, said that the airline will also be reintroducing a third daily flight to Johannesburg from March 30th.

Commenting on the amendments to the flight schedule, Mr Simon said: "A key consideration is to make sure any changes or revisions that are made have no or a minimum impact on our valued customers."

The new daily flight services to Durban may well be of use to South Africans who are considering buying property in Dubai.

Other services recently introduced by Emirates include a double-decker A380 service flying non-stop from Dubai to London Heathrow every day.

The new route came into effect on December 1st 2008.

Looking ahead, Emirates announced earlier this week that it will also launch a new A380 service to South Korea from November 2009.ADNFCR-2019-ID-18998981-ADNFCR
