Dubai land transactions peak at Dh2 billion
People looking for property for sale in Dubai may be interested to hear that last week, the total value of land transactions in the emirate topped Dh2 billion (£363.9 million).

According to figures from the Land Department, the most expensive plot sold over the course of the week is located in Jebel Ali and fetched Dh34.12 million.

In total, 46 transactions were carried out, with the Palm Jumeirah seeing the largest number of sales.

The luxury complex attracted 11 buyers last week, with Jebel Ali carrying out ten transactions.

Meanwhile, the total value of mortgages for the week stood at Dh673.55 million, while sales amounted to Dh1.33 billion, taking total transactions above the Dh2 billion mark.
