The Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) has confirmed that in addition to room rate reductions, shoppers visiting Dubai from January 10th until mid February will be able benefit from food reductions of up to 25 per cent.
Such news may be of interest to those who are planning to buy property in Dubai.
Commenting on the new offers, Khalid Ahmed bin Sulayem, director general of DTCM, said that it would help the DSF to attract interest from eight key markets.
These are the US, UK, Germany, Gulf Cooperation Council states, India, China, Japan and Australia.
The announcement follows a recent meeting held by the DTCM to discuss ways to continue to attract new interest in the Emirates as 2009 gets underway.
DSF was launched in 1996 under the directive of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
