Anyone with a Dubai property investment may be interested to learn that the UAE holds the title of World's Leading Airline.
The status was given to the Etihad Airways at this year's World Travel Awards (WTA).
James Hogan, the firm's chief executive, said: "Three years ago, Etihad set itself one clear and simple goal, to be the best airline in the world. I am proud of the way Etihad people all over the world have embraced that vision," according to an Emirates News Agency report.
He added that the company's investment in advanced technology had been supported by its staff executing "superb customer service".
The WTA's claim to acknowledge the greatest businesses in the tourism, hospitality and the air industry worldwide.
Etihad scooped its award after over 180,000 industry bodies from 175 countries voted in favour of the airline taking home the title.
It has been established for just five years but has had over 17 million passengers and by the end of this year the company will boast 52 planes in its fleet.
