Anyone with a property in the UAE may want to hear who the winners of a film-making competition, set to be announced in December.
Movies in Motion is working in partnership with the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF), the latter of which will be experiencing its sixth outing at this year's event.
Mahsa Motamedi, DIFF marketing and sponsorship director, said: "Since our partnership with the event, we have been providing the right platform to showcase film-making talent in the region and thus encourage young movie enthusiasts to take the next steps forward."
The representative added that the competition had seen great improvement, in terms of its entrants' quality in the last three years of it running. This year it enticed 550 entries.
MBC is responsible for the organisation of what is described as a pan-Arab contest to attract aspiring Middle Eastern filmmakers.
Participants are required to produce a two-minute film alongside adhering to other rules criteria.
Entries were received from destinations including Saudi Arabia, Oman and Morocco.
The DIFF claims to celebrate cinematic greatness and uses this as a vehicle to open up conversation between different nationalities.
