A new scoring from Gartner for one Middle East-based information company may prove relevant for those with commercial property in Dubai.
The company, EMC, was given the highest rating of Strong Positive, in the report called MarketScope for Storage Services, North America 2009.
Wael El Nadi, technology solutions manager for its Turkey, Middle East and Africa division, said that the result from Gartner was a mark of the company's "innovation and leadership in delivering outstanding services and solutions".
EMC came under evaluation alongside an additional ten companies.
He explained: "EMC Global Services' broad portfolio of end-to-end services and solutions enable customers to maximise the value of their technology and infrastructure investments."
Mr El Nadi added that the rating would also serve to limit risk and commented that virtualisation initiatives and transformation to private cloud computing were essential in the current economic climate.
EMC company values are underpinned by the fact that an important business asset is information. It seeks to assist different sized organisations to get a hold of their information to meet business challenges.
