Recent victory at this year's Cityscape awards could spark the interest of anyone buying property in Dubai.
AGi Architects has been awarded the Commercial Building/Mixed-Use - Future Architecture Award.
The company was founded by Dr Nasser Abulhasan and Joaquin Perez-Goicoechea and it was given for the prize for its Masdar Headquarters, based in the Abu Dhabi region.
Masdar HQ is found in Masdar City which is an area of carbon-neutral waste, said to be the first of its kind throughout the whole world.
AGi came ahead of three other challengers to take home the award.
The Cityscape Awards relate to accreditation in the architectural sector, awarding businesses in countries including Latin America, South America and the Gulf.
Cityscape 2009 drew to a close last month. It was said to involve the usual mix of conferences and networking, providing a platform where industry officials can meet for discussions.
"Innovation and confidence within the emerging market real estate sector" was the theme for this year's show.
