One construction firm is celebrating winning the contract for a commercial property investment in Dubai.
Today (November 29th) a celebration was held to commemorate the work on the building commencing.
Saleh Constructions has been given the JW Marriott Hotel contract for the Dubailand development.
The hotel in Dubai Lifestyle City is set to feature 170 rooms, 48 of which will be super deluxe or royal chalets. The remainder of the building will comprise of 68 well-proportioned guest rooms alongside three restaurants and a ballroom.
Not to be overlooked is the 25,000 sq ft spa that is planned, where individual programmes will be catered according to guests' needs.
Mr Jeff Strachan, area director of sales and marketing at the Middle East and Africa Marriott, said: "We are delighted that Saleh Constructions have commenced work on the JW Marriott Dubai Lifestyle City."
He added that the whole of the Dubai Lifestyle City will set a precedent for luxury living in the emirate once the development is finished.
Marriott hotel heritage can be traced back to 1927 in Washington DC - presiding in 70 countries as it stands today.
