Those who own property in Ras Al-Khaimah may be aware that RAKBANK - the trading name of the emirate's national bank - recently picked up an award for its efforts.
According to the lender's general manager Graham Honeybill, the nod for best customer service in the UAE is testament to the hard work put in by the company to provide excellent facilities.
The achievement was a result of the Fifth Annual Service Quality Bank Benchmarking Study, undertaken by Ethos Consultancy.
It analysed the offerings of 27 domestic and international banks but said RAKBANK was a leader when it came to excellent service.
This is an aspect of business the provider "grows more passionate about year after year", said My Honeybill.
Some of the ideas implemented in recent months may have contributed to the win, he added.
These include an "extensive" customer feedback system and an internal mystery shopping set-up.
More than half (52.75 per cent) of RAKBANK is owned by the Ras Al-Khaimah government.
