Commercial property owners in Dubai may already know about a gathering of professionals that took place at the Madinat Jumeirah recently.
It was brought about as a result of the Arabian Property Awards 2009 - which are conducted in concurrence with the International Property Awards – and it was attended by hundreds.
Prince Abdul Aziz Al-Ayaf claimed a prize as well as an International Property Awards' proposal for Best Leisure Development.
Stuart Shield, event organiser, commented: "It never ceases to amaze me how companies manage to produce entries which exceed even our judges' high expectations for quality and professionalism year on year."
He added that this was the case for all of the competition's classifications, including high rise developments to architecture.
Other guests of note included the mayor of Riyadh - and the Moroccan Ambassador for the Emirates was there to give support to the brandy world's Richard Hennessy when he received the Best Golf Development award.
Winners at the International Commercial Property Awards are not only invited to attend the ceremony but are permitted to use the event logo on their promotional materials afterwards.
