It is hoped that more people in South Africa will be interested in Dubai property for sale following the recent success of the Dubai Road Shows.
The events, which began at Johannesburg's Sandton Convention Centre, were organised in co-ordination with the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM).
Moving on to Durban and Cape Town, the road shows featured nine participants including Emirates Airlines, Landmark Group of Hotels and Arabian Adventures, which co-sponsored the events.
DTCM's head of region for India, the Middle East and southern and eastern Africa Talal Al Suwaidi, headed the delegation, which was responsible for marketing Dubai as a tourist destination.
Over 350 South African travel agents and tour operators attended the road shows, as did Ismaeel Obaid Al Ali, the United Arab Emirates' ambassador to South Africa.
The DTCM was established in 1997 and in addition to its headquarters in Dubai, has regional offices in a number of countries throughout the world.
