Those with property in the UAE are set to get a taste of the orient.
Asian artists are scheduled to exhibit their works as of December 5th at the Dubai International Art Centre (DIAC).
Entitled A Brush with the Orient, the display seeks to convey how the various nationalities in the emirate serve to better cultural understanding.
Visitors can expect to see the traditional subject matter that is associated with Chinese brush paintings on show, which includes bamboo and flowers on rice paper. Works are often reinforced with traditional Zen Buddhism and Chinese philosophies.
The Chinese Brush and Japanese Sumi-e Ink works have been created by a group of artists with mixed nationalities.
The event will run up until December 19th of this year.
Visitors will be able to attend the event from 17:30 local time at Gallery 76 of the art centre, which is located on Jumeirah Beach Road.
The DIAC was founded in 1976 in a villa garage and was registered as a non-profit establishment, originally called the Art Society of Dubai.
