For those with interests in commercial property in Dubai, the recent signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) may be of interest.
The agreement is between the country's cyber security coordination centre, part of the UAE Telecommunications Regulatory Authority and the UAE Computer Emergency Response Team.
It was signed today (October 21st) at the GITEX Technology Week, which will be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre until October 22nd.
Ahmed Mohammed Bin Humaidan, director general of the Dubai eGovernment, said: "Today's signing marks a significant step towards Dubai eGovernment's commitment to provide world-class eServices to a large section of individuals, government departments and organisations."
He added that both electronic information security and infrastructure are of paramount importance, in terms of keeping up high standards for services for the Dubai eGovernement, now and in the future.
It is hoped that the signing will mean Dubai's eServices are brought about with a high level of security, on an international scale, with all signing parties attempting to increase awareness of eServices.
This year's GITEX event boasts more than 3,000 suppliers.
