Our consultant NORR has completed 50% of the detailed design and will complete 100% of the design by the mid of August 2015.
The preliminary design has been approved by Nakheel and Trakhees.
The mobilization permit required for Zetas the shoring and piling contractor of the project was obtained on 17th of June, 2015.

Norr the lead consultant of the project has made the submission for obtaining the final design approval to the authorities on the 15th of October, 2015. Comments were received and Norr is attending to these comments and the resubmission of the drawings will happen around the 8th of December, 2015.
Zetas, the shoring and piling contractor has completed 95% of the shoring works and their work is ongoing.
The piling design permit has been issued on the 30th of November, 2015. Zetas will commence with the piling works after the completion of the shoring and excavation’s works.

The main building tender package has been released to grade A contractors for biding on the construction of the hotel. The last date for receiving the bids is the 13th of December, 2015.

A few days after the commencement of the dewatering the excavation around the piles will start and the piles’ testing will follow. Dubai Civil Defense inspection is scheduled on 18/09/2019. Dubai municipality completion certificate of the building is expected to be issued during the 1st week of October, 2019.

Dubai Civil Defense authority has carried out their 1st inspection of the building. Minor comments were highlighted during the inspection which will be completed in two weeks by the contractor.
Dubai electricity and water authority (DEWA) has made their final inspection of the building and confirmed the building’s conformity to receive the permanent electrical and water supply. This is expected by to happen before the end of October 2019.
