Dubai, UAE, October 2013: The First Group is proud to reveal it has been honoured with three top accolades at the Arabian Property Awards, which ranks amongst the most prestigious commendations in the world of residential and commercial property. The First Group’s recently launched website www.thefirstgroup.com has been named the Best Developer Website, while its projects, Wyndham Dubai Marina (TFG Marina Hotel) and The Bridge at Dubai Sports City has been awarded Best Condominium / Apartment and Best Residential High-Rise Development respectively.

The First Group joined successful entrants at a high-profile gala dinner and awards ceremony this week at the One & Only Royal Mirage in Dubai. As well as honouring outstanding work in the property industry, the Arabian Property Awards are a prelude to the long established International Property Awards, which is the world’s richest competition when measured by the value of the projects entered. The First Group could also be eligible to compete in these global awards should it be announced as one of the highest-scoring winners on the night. At the end of the year, these winners will go up against other top companies from Africa, Asia, Europe, the UK and the Americas to find the ultimate World’s Best in each category.

Entrants into the Arabian Property Awards were meticulously judged by a high caliber panel which included around 70 professionals form the world of property, architecture, design, surveying and much more. Their task was to identify the highest ranking real estate agencies and developers in the region, as well as the best developments. As a result the award winners’ logo is hailed as a symbol of excellence throughout the global property industry. This year, Iran and Iraq were amongst the entries for the first time in the International Property Awards’ 19-year history, while Dubai and Abu Dhabi led the competition in the total number of winning projects.
