Helicopter show returning to Dubai

A popular helicopter show is returning to Dubai later this year.And those looking at Dubai property for sale can start to get excited about the event - which is the third largest showcase of its kind in the world - as the date of its arrival has now been confirmed, Emirates 24/7 reports.The Domus Group revealed the fifth edition of the International helicopter Technology and Operations Exhibition, also known as the Dubai Helishow 2012, will be taking place between November 6th and 8th.Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, prime minister and ruler of Dubai, the performance is to be staged at the new location of the Grand Stand at the Meydan Hotel in Meydan Racecourse.It is hoped the event will provide a platform for the latest helicopter technologies and services to be showcased and celebrated, while this year's instalment of the gathering will place a particular focus on achievements made in the sector across the Middle East region.The exhibition might even give an idea to those considering apartments for sale Dubai as to what their next extravagant purchase might be.Over 85 organisations have already confirmed their participation at the meet, including those with technological solutions in the commercial, military, civil defence and air and rescue sectors.Mohammed Al Mohannadi, chief executive officer of Gulf Helicopters, said the event represents a good opportunity to meet with work associates and consider the future benefits to be brought to the industry.Mr Al Mohannadi stated: "I am pleased to announce that the company will be attending the Dubai Helishow 2012, to benefit from this international gathering of the world's key players in the Helicopter field."He added: "Our vision is to contribute to the development of the helicopter industry and its associated trade in the Middle East region."The industry figure claimed the last Helishow proved a great success, enjoyed by participants and visitors alike - but added November's edition should be an even bigger event.
