Three Doors Down are the latest act to be confirmed for the highly anticipated Emirates Airlines Dubai International Jazz Festival.The US rock band - best known for hits such as Kryptonite and Here With You - will join the likes of Deep Purple at the event in 2013.Speaking to Tabloid!, the group's frontman Brad Arnold said he has fond memories of performing in the UAE.In 2006, Three Doors Down were part of the star-studded line-up at the Dubai Desert Rock Festival."One of my most memorable bands to perform with was in Dubai when we got to play with Megadeth," he was quoted as saying."We have the best fans in the world and the best part of doing what we do is going out and performing for them."The band are currently touring with Chris Daughtry and Arnold revealed they have spoken to the artist about performing in Dubai."Chris did mention Dubai. He said he loved it," he continued.Last month, the same news provider reported that Deep Purple will appear on stage on February 21st at the Dubai International Jazz Festival.The whole event will run between February 14th and 22nd and organisers of the musical extravaganza are very excited.Chief executive officer of Chillout Productions Anthony Younes insisted that some of the finest musicians around will perform at the festival.Tickets are expected to go on sale later this month and demand is likely to be very high.Dubai is renowned for attracting the biggest stars in the world and the likes of 50 Cent and Jennifer Lopez have put on live shows in the UAE in 2012.Lopez told Tabloid! that she had been looking forward to her trip to Dubai and she was the guest of honour at the grand unveiling of the largest Audi showroom in Al Quoz.It was the first time the singer had visited Dubai and she was clearly very impressed with the city.
