French DJ sensation David Guetta has become a global mega star and he continues to perform in sell-out arenas all around the world.Guetta has put on numerous shows in the UAE and he has told the National that he always looks forward to visiting this part of the Gulf."I love it here," he was quoted as saying.Because of his immense popularity, the 45-year-old is constantly on the move and he suggested that jetlag is a big problem for him.Guetta could possibly become the latest star turn to secure a property investment in Dubai.When asked if he would consider purchasing real estate in the UAE, he said: "Well yes, that would be a possibility."Guetta also revealed that he has been working on some new tunes during his stay in Dubai, although they are not finished yet."I've been making music in my room every day since I've been here, on my laptop," he reportedly commented.The dance music icon is due to appear at the Creamfields festival in Abu Dhabi, which is just one of many exciting musical events scheduled to take place in the UAE in the coming months.Earlier this week, Tabloid! revealed that Three Doors Down would appear on the same bill as British band Deep Purple at the highly anticipated Emirates Airlines Dubai International Jazz Festival next February.The same news provider also reported last week that global megastar Nicki Minaj is set to make her Dubai debut when she takes to the stage at the Meydan Racecourse on December 28th.Just a few days later, the venue will host a magnificent New Year's Eve bash, which will see hip hop legend Snoop Dogg entertain his legions of fans.He is not the only high-profile act lined up for the event, as Armand Van Helden, Gorillaz and Faithless are also on the bill.All in all, it is fair to say it is an exciting time for the UAE's thriving live music scene.
