Golf legend Tiger Woods has confirmed that he is to begin his quest to regain his place at the summit of the sport by winning the first tournament of the year in Abu Dhabi. Woods has endured a barren run of late, following accusations surrounding his personal life. But after recently winning the Chevron World Challenge, Tiger is keen to start the season on a positive note in Abu Dhabi. Confirming that he has recovered from some leg injuries, Woods explained that he was determined to go on another "great run". "I am looking to get off to a fast start in Abu Dhabi and keep building from there," the former world number one explained. "Now that I am healthy, I feel I can keep building my game and confidence, much like I did at the end of last year - from the Australian Open to the Presidents Cup to, finally, a win in California."
