Abuja's airport is set for further renovation over the coming years as it looks to improve facilities for passengers. In news that could interest people considering Abuja property investment, the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) said that the current domestic terminal will be demolished and built up again. Furthermore, while current journeys will not be affected, the airport will be even better for those using the site in the future, the Daily Times reports. Henrietta Yakubu, the deputy general manager of public affairs at FAAN, noted the state the old facilities were in. "The old terminal is really becoming dilapidated and quite small for passengers’ movement," she said. "When the new minister of aviation came on board, she decided that the old domestic operations should be moved to the international terminal." Hundreds of thousands of new jobs could also follow in Abuja after the federal government said that it is saving money on fuel subsidy withdrawals.
