Dubai has a habit of attracting some of the world's most famous stars - and they don't come much bigger than Jennifer Lopez.Otherwise known as JLo, the singer headed to the UAE to perform at a sell-out concert at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre this week (November 22nd).This was part of her world tour and the 43-year-old told Tabloid! that this was the gig she was most excited about. She flew into the emirate ahead of her show alongside boyfriend Casper Smart and her two children Max and Emme."We've been looking forward to coming to Dubai, I have to tell you, the whole time we've been on tour," she was quoted as saying."It's my first time here and I am so excited to meet the fans in Dubai. It was a lovely day today - I hear the weather is good right now. I got very lucky."As someone who is renowned for appreciating the finer things in life, it is no wonder that JLo was so keen to soak up the Dubai sun before her concert. The city is full to the brim of designer boutiques, gourmet restaurants and glamorous hotels and a plethora of high-profile singers, actors and sports stars take a holiday in Dubai each year.JLo was the guest of honour at the grand opening of the world's largest Audi showroom in Al Quoz, where she revealed that her favourite model is the R8, although she admitted that she very rarely gets behind the wheel and is "driven around a lot".Following her show, the songstress was scheduled to head to Shanghai in China and she was clearly sad to leave the UAE."I wish I could stay longer - I've dreamed of coming here," she added.A host of leading US musical acts have performed in Dubai this year, including hip hop icon 50 Cent, which highlights the emirate's ability to attract the leading global names.
