The festive season is just around the corner and people living in Dubai will be able to celebrate Christmas in style.Turret Middle East - the organiser of the renowned Taste of Dubai event - is staging a three-day Christmas extravaganza at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre.Speaking to AMEinfo, managing director of the company Chris Fountain said the Dubai Christmas Festival will get everyone into the spirit of the season."This year there is no better place to celebrate the festive season than the Dubai Christmas Festival," he was quoted as saying."From the moment our visitors walk through the gates they will be transported into a Christmas wonderland where they can enjoy some great Christmas musical entertainment, the festive food and drink and the chance to finish all their shopping."Held between December 6th and 8th, the event has been dubbed as a one-stop shop for all things Christmas and a number of top retailers will be in attendance.Indeed, GAP, Virgin Megastore and Lakeland are among the companies that plan to sell their goods during the festival.As you would expect, the Christmas bonanza is ideal for the whole family and there will be plenty to keep the children entertained.The little ones will love the Winter Wonderland and will be able to meet Santa in his grotto too.Celebrity chefs from some of Dubai's most high-class restaurants will also be on hand to show people how to cook the perfect Christmas meals.A host of popular food outlets - including Nando's, Sumo Sushi and The Lime Tree Cafe - will provide visitors with ample nourishment, while some more traditional festive fare can be purchased from the markets.Dubai Media City has become a hub for exciting events in the emirate and this is just one of many shows and festivals that take place at the venue throughout the year.Turret Middle East has predicted around 10,000 people will enjoy the three-day festival this year.
