The Tecom district has a new addition to Dubai’s buzzing nightlife scene. The Chameleon Club recently opened in the Byblos Hotel, located in the heart of the busy new Dubai area. The nightclub was designed by international interior architect Italo Rota, and features dining, dancing, bar areas and a plush VIP zone.
The Chameleon Club’s pre-club dining menu is a fusion of Italian and Japenese, prepared by Italian born Executive Chef Alessandro Miceli, who has worked in many award winning and Michelin Starred restaurants around Europe. On the Japanese side, former Buddha Bar chef, Myo Zaw Aung, will be rolling sushi right at the table for guests. Perhaps the most eye-catching part of the club is the 6.5 by 5.5 metre Chameleon, positioned right at the centre of the venue.
"The Tecom area is becoming more and more popular and is very much seen as 'local' to areas such as the Marina, JBR, Emirates Hills and surrounding residential areas,” commented CEO of Byblos Hospitality, Jean Samman. Tecom has risen rapidly as both a business and residential hub thanks to its strategic location in new Dubai. It has its own Dubai Metro station, making it a quick and easy commute to the rest of the city. It is also home to the First Group’s three prestigious hotel apartment developments, Metro Central, First Central and Grand Central.
