Emirates to launch new route to Ireland

Emirates airline is to service the Republic of Ireland for the first time in its history when it launches a new daily offering to Dublin next year.Flights between Dubai and Dublin are scheduled to begin from January 9th 2012, the Dubai-based airline announced.The news could be very welcome to people with Dubai property for sale as the route will open up the possibility of new buyers.It should accommodate a large number of passengers, as it is estimated that the number of Irish nationals who live abroad is 15 times greater than the country's population of 4.5 million."Dublin will be our 29th route in Europe and Emirates' customers in Ireland who currently travel through some of our UK gateways will be able to fly non-stop to our industry leading hub in Dubai and conveniently connect onwards to our broadening route network," commented chairman and chief executive of Emirates Airline and Group, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum.The terminal now flies to 114 destinations in 67 countries and is constantly expanding. This year it has launched flights to Basra, Geneva and Copenhagen.
