Abu Dhabi hotels set for growth

Property investors keen to find commercial opportunities in the Middle East could be among those encouraged by recent predictions regarding the hotel sector.STR Global has forecast growth of 90 per cent in the number of available hotel rooms in the emirate, should all current developments be seen through to completion, Arabian Business reported.Data released by the firm showed that if all of the 13,534 rooms that are currently in construction are built, the UAE capital will boast 90.3 per cent more rooms than it does at present. The extra hotel rooms could be useful over the coming years after the Abu Dhabi Airports Company revealed that travel links with a number of countries around the world have been improved.Indeed, a number of new flights into Abu Dhabi International Airport could well see tourist numbers from India, Singapore, China and the Czech Republic increase in the near future.
