Ras Al Khaimah an emerging hotelier hotspot as construction begins

People with an interest in property Ras Al Khaimah may be interested to hear that the emirate has been named as one of the emerging hotspots for international hoteliers.Rezidor and Hilton are among the leading names that are planning to open new properties in the area over the next couple of years, reports Arabian Business.Their timing looks to be good, too, with Hilton's country manager Mohab Ghali saying that visitor numbers are "steadily increasing" because of government work being put into the tourism sector.A spokesman for Rezidor told the news provider that hundreds of jobs will follow as it expands its presence in the area."We have a hotel of around 180 rooms under construction in the form of a Radisson Blu, which will open in 2013 and contribute to around 220 jobs in the city," he said.RAK Airways announced last week that it is the company has around 20,000 passengers per month and is looking to increase flight numbers to Jeddah.
