RAK Airways to work with tourism board to further develop area

Ras Al Khaimah Airways will be working with the emirate's tourism board to develop the area and make it more attractive visitors.That is according to Omar Jahameh, the chief executive officer of RAK Airways, who told Gulf News that his company will play a "pivotal role" in further developing Ras Al Khaimah.Furthermore, he added that the international airport is currently being refurbished so that it can handle more aircraft and passengers, which may interest people looking to buy property in the emirate.Mr Jahameh told the news provider of Ras Al Khaimah's benefits, including its vibrant economy and that it is a "wonderful place to do business".He added: "The cost of living and doing business in Ras Al Khaimah is markedly lower than other emirates and far less than traditional business centres such as New York, London or Mumbai, yet it is perfectly positioned at the crossroads of Europe and Asia."Yesterday (July 11th), Ras Al Khaimah was named as one of the emerging hotspots for international hoteliers as Rezidor and Hilton construct new properties.
