A new cruise ship is set to take in stops at Dubai, as well as Muscat, Fujairah and Abu Dhabi, which is expected to hugely boost tourism in the UAE.Cruise liner Royal Caribbean will take its new ship, Serenade of the Seas, to the Arabian Gulf from December 2012 on 17 seven-night voyages throughout the season.It carries 2,114 passengers and land tours on offer will include trips to Dubai, Al Ain and Ras Al Khaimah, Emirates 24/7 reports.Al Ain, which includes the 1,249-metre high peak of Jebel Hafeet, has just been named as the nation's first World Heritage site by Unesco, which is sure to bring in tourists.A cruise around the UAE first launched in 2009 and has since proved popular, leading to the commissioning of the brand new vessel.To give an indication of how more people are heading to Dubai, figures from Dubai Airports for May show that 3.97 million people passed through the terminal, an 8.8 per cent increase on the same month last year.
