Are Dubai residents looking to relocate?

Middle Eastern property investors could be among those interested in the findings of a new report.Data from Cluttons has indicated that the rental market in Abu Dhabi is picking up at such pace that those commuting to the region from Dubai could soon look to relocate, Al Bawaba reported.According to the report, supply is putting downward pressure on rents in Abu Dhabi, with the residential apartment market experiencing falls since the first quarter of 2011."Whilst potential buyers continue to find it difficult to secure finance, which is further holding the market back, the rental market appears to be picking up, with increasing evidence and sentiment that many professionals who commute from Dubai to work in Abu Dhabi, may relocate to the capital over the summer," the news provider explained. It follows the news that Abu Dhabi is now a more affordable place to live, with the Cluttons study showing that the rental values of some new developments in the emirate are now on a par with properties in Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah.
